Custom

Custom Design begins with the client and their desires. Sometimes it is for a wedding or commitment ring, a graduation gift for a beloved daughter, or a pin to recognize a museum or foundation's charitable donors. The two types of custom design involve either starting from scratch and purchasing new gemstones or diamonds, or incorporating clients old jewelry to save on costs. My desire is to translate what is precious to the client and render it in natural minerals harvested consciously from the earth. Outdated pieces of jewelry that have been handed down can be cut apart and reconfigured into new and dynamic wearable bracelets, necklaces, rings or earrings. This is an alternative to melting it all down and starting over. Retaining the actual part of something that someone dear to you wore, creates a sense of history and belonging that is not replicable.
