This past year has encompassed travel to 5 states and splendid visits with clients who are also dear friends willing to lend their pieces for this show. Annette Cone-Skelton, the curator, had to choose from over 1,000 images that I took, narrowing the final selection to 100 pieces representing 40 years of jewelry design. I know there are many more pieces out there being worn and loved, but time did not permit me to locate each client. As an artist, one is rarely given the opportunity to view the scope of one’s career within the walls of a museum. I’m indebted to Annette and the staff at MOCA GA and grateful to each of you who have supported me throughout the decades. I hope you can make it to this very special month-long celebration. In conjuction with the Retrospective, I’m working on a book of my forty year dance in the mineral kingdom which I hope to publish in 2015-16.
