During the 70's I lived and produced jewelry in Skagway, Alaska, a coastal city located in a narrow valley in Southeast Alaska. I was stunned to look in every direction and see at least one huge mountain with an icy blue glacier hanging from it. The sheer mass of raw forces expanded my artist voice exponentially. I continue to return to Alaska for inspiration and exposure to extreme beauty with minimal human intervention.
